Przestrzenie Sacrum

Sacral Spaces is a project dedicated to a local multiculturalism, which is rooted in the identity of the city of Poznań (Poland). It alludes to the idea of the Night of Temples, but goes beyond discovering unknown buildings.  It provides space for dialogue in which issues such as feminism theology or women in Christianity are not excluded. Acknowledging local islamophobia and anti-semitism, it attempts to fight stereotypes and condemn social acceptance of violence towards the Other. The initiative was implemented by the association called "Better World" in Poznań in 2016. As an integral part of the festival, the association organises a monthly series of events dedicated to local communities.
